Planting Design
I create planting schemes thoughtfully tailored to your garden’s conditions — including soil type, pH and aspect — as well as your preferred palette and the character of your home. Whether you’re looking for a low-maintenance scheme that remains beautiful with minimal intervention, or a more involved and expressive planting design that allows you to develop your gardening skills, each plan is shaped around the time and level of engagement you wish to give. Every scheme is composed with care, creating planting that feels balanced, expressive and true to your garden’s setting.
Plant Sourcing & Planting
I source high-quality plants from a trusted network of nurseries and growers across the UK, selecting each one to suit your design and garden conditions. Plants are delivered directly to your garden, ready for planting. On planting day, I personally set out and position every plant with care, allowing for its mature size so the balance, flow and structure of the design can develop beautifully over time. If you’d like full planting support, I can carry out the planting for you, ensuring your new garden is established with the greatest care.
Ongoing Support & Aftercare
Following the planting of your garden, I offer optional online support tailored to the specific plants within your scheme. You’ll receive clear guidance on when and how to carry out key seasonal tasks — such as pruning, feeding, propagation and checking for pests or diseases. This personalised guidance helps you understand what your garden needs throughout the year, while also giving you the opportunity to develop new gardening skills with confidence. Seasonal follow-up visits can also be arranged as required, to review progress and offer practical advice as the garden develops.
