Contemporary Low Maintenance Gravel Garden

The garden was redesigned to create an easy, low-maintenance gravel garden that opens up the countryside views, with a small lawn for putting and planting that brings movement and colour.

The existing garden was heavily overgrown, with a dominant Leylandii hedge and dense planting that blocked much of the surrounding view, leaving the space feeling enclosed and undefined.

The garden was carefully re-formed and structured around a circular lawn and soft stone pathways that guide movement through layered planting and quiet seating areas, anchored by a corten steel water bowl that supports wildlife.
